March 24, 2005 – The roof goes on today! 

8:30 am - The shingles, drip edge and nails were delivered.

9:45 am - The roofing crew arrived - only two guys, but it should go pretty quick.  Notice the clever use of felt paper to protect the driveway from oil drips!

11:30 am - The felt is done on the back side and the first row of shingles is started. With the high winds today, these guys are earning their money! (Jorge likes to ham it up for the camera).

3:00 pm - Two sides done, starting felt on other two sides.

5:30 pm - Done for the day ... three sides are done, one side and ridge to go. They will be back in the morning to finish up.

March 25, 2005 – The roof is completed!    Jorge came this morning and wrapped it up.  Another excellent job by Doyle at D R Roofing (they put the roof on our house right before we closed on it).
